A ₹51,300 crore solar proposal, cleared by the State Investment Promotion Board
Sited in Sri Sathya Sai district, cleared alongside green hydrogen, bio-CNG and data infrastructure proposals.
The seventeenth meeting of the State Investment Promotion Board cleared a set of proposals spanning solar, green hydrogen, bio-CNG and data infrastructure — a portfolio rather than a single sector, which is the pattern the state’s energy build-out has taken.
Sri Sathya Sai sits in the Rayalaseema belt, where irradiation, land availability and evacuation capacity converge.
As with every Board clearance, the decision records commitments on both sides — what the company will build, and what the state will provide.
