Quantum computing is at the stage semiconductors were at half a century ago: the machines matter less than the ecosystem forming around them. A state that hosts the hardware early gets the researchers, the startups and the talent pipeline that follow it.

AP Quantum Valley sits at Amaravati alongside the state’s AI and data infrastructure programme, deliberately co-located rather than dispersed.

For a deep-tech company the relevant question is not what the machine can do today but who else will be within driving distance in five years. That is the bet the state has made.

Andhra Pradesh exemplifies this vision by fostering partnerships between government, academia, and industry.
